Course details:

Steve Kimberley is a well-respected  ‘A’ panel judge and also a committee member of our club.  He has built an outstanding reputation as an HPR trainer and has agreed to put on a weekend exclusively for the Norfolk and Suffolk HPR Field Trials Club in the incredible surroundings of Scottish Borders. Those who have been on one of Steve’s training courses will understand why he has built up such a good reputation and why his courses are so popular.

 

Group training is limited to 8 handlers with one dog working at a time, this gives everyone the chance to watch others and understand how they are interacting with their own dogs; you progress at the right pace and assimilate information over the course of the two days which helps to embed skills and techniques.

At the start of your course Steve assesses your dog and your working partnership so that he can build the course around both individual and group capabilities. Every owner and dog are different, so the skills and elements of training are tailored to suit the individuals within the group, ensuring that both handler and dog learn from the exercises but most importantly, that they succeed.

​

Everyone will leave with renewed confidence, skills and exercises which they can progress and practice, as well as memories of a great weekend in incredible surroundings.
