What a fabulous weekend to be up on glorious Roxby moor! Thanks, as always, to Mark Taylor for allowing us onto such wonderful ground!
Saturday was a training day, all dogs saw rabbits, hares and grouse which they got to grips with in no time and became steady to fur quickly.
Sunday (rabbit trial) we hunted ground with a variety of game. Dogs had the opportunity to not only point rabbit but also pheasant, partridge, and woodcock which they did. We saw some very nice hunting from all dogs and saw some impressive work from some very novice dogs even when faced with bolting rabbits- we were unable to award best chase!
Thanks to all who attended and made the weekend as great as it was! Thanks so much to our trainers, judges, keeper and of course Denise our FT Sec who puts on such fun, friendly events!
